OR

As an alternative to the above entry requirements, travelers entering Ecuador who were previously diagnosed as COVID-19 positive may present a medical certificate from their country of origin attesting to their recovery and current good health, as long as the onset of the COVID-19 symptoms occurred more than 30 days prior to arrival in Ecuador.
Travel health insurance is mandatory for foreign tourists.
Note:
– Before disembarking, the passenger must complete and sign the Traveler’s health form, which will be given to the Ministry of Health upon arrival for the respective medical control.
– A rapid antigen test will be performed randomly upon entry into the country. This test will be performed by the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador (MSP). In case the rapid antigen test is positive, the passenger becomes a patient and must perform mandatory isolation for ten (10) days in the temporary care centers assigned by the MSP for this purpose and comply with the provisions indicated by the health authority. In case the rapid antigen test is negative, the person will not be required to undergo mandatory isolation.
