Located on the south bank of the Napo River, Yasuní Kickwa Ecolodge is located in the Yasuní National Park. The canoe trip downstream starts at Coca in a comfortable and ecological canoe roofed with an outboard motor. The trip usually lasts around 2 hours and a lunch is provided to the passengers during the trip.

4 Days/ 3 Nights

The good life or sumak kawsay means "full life" of the indigenous worldview, aspire to live well and live "better". This is possible when there is harmony between human beings with their past, their peers, their community, their roots culture, spirituality and nature, with the perspective of adhesion.

Day 1

Yasuní Kichwa Ecolodge is located on the south bank of the Napo River, the largest in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the Yasuni National Park.The journey begins from the city of Coca in canoes with comfortable ecological roofs, outboard motors operated. The canoe trip on the river lasts approximately two hours, lunch will be provided to the passengers.

During the navigation you will see birds such as herons, kingfishers, sea swallows and other species of shorebirds and beautiful landscapes.

Upon arriving at the Yasuní Kichwa Ecolodge, visitors are warmly welcomed with a traditional drink, lunch at the Ecolodge and immediately taken to their cabins in the middle of the full desert found in one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth.

In the afternoon, a short walk to the banks of the Napo River to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beaches and islands naturally returns for dinner and rest.

Day 2

Breakfast and early departure to board the boat to an amazing parrot lick clay that within easy access brings face to face visitors with approximately 11 species of parrots (including parrotlets and macaws), depending on the seasons, weather conditions and good fortune in general. (This activity is usually successful).

We ended this morning with a visit to the Interpretation Center "KuriMuyu" run by the women of the community here to learn about Kichwa culture, handicrafts, traditions and the traditional use of natural resources directly to people in the community. We return to lunch and take a rest in the lodge.

One hour ride to climb the 35 meter observation tower that could see a variety of birds, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, parrots and sloths.

Return to the hotel and dinner in a motorized canoe.

Day 3

Visit Breakfast around the community projects, talk about the Kichwa worldview Addition to the medicinal and walk on the Mama Cuna road, excellent opportunity to see more wild life, ceibas, choke, bamboo cane, lianas and endemic shrubs Yasuní.

We return for lunch and rest in the hostel.

Once in the stream Añangu embark in small canoes and go down the river in a spectacular adventure through the forest with the opportunity to observe the crocodiles nightlife and especially listen to the sounds of nature in its purest form. Return to the hotel in motorized canoes, typical traditional dinner.

Day 4

We get up at 4:30 in the morning to share one of the ancient customs of Kichwa culture, making way to energize the body to listen to Kichwa songs and mind and think about important issues in a peaceful and unique way; return for breakfast, before taking a motorized canoe back to the city of Coca.

The program of 5 days or more, offers the opportunity weitere to live a unique experience navigating the Napo River in an eco-catamaran that will take you to see tropical birds like orioles, caciques, parrots, several species of herons, caranchos, pigeons , anis, terns and other primate species.

These water sports like tubes or regatta on the Napo River or just relax and rest.

5 Days/ 4 Nights

Day 1
We will start the trip in Quito if you take the flight to Coca. Transfer and assistance at the airport and Port of embarkation The Mission for the boarding in the canoes of the Añangu Community that will be between 11:30 s and 12:30 hours. During the crossing you will be able to observe several types of birds typical of the shores and islands of the Napo river, such as kingfishers, sandpipers and other species; as well as beautiful landscapes.

Welcome at the Yasuní Kichwa Ecolodge, with a refreshing drink and chopped, talk and assignment of cabins in an environment full of Amazonian wildlife, in one of the most biologically diverse places on earth Yasuni National Park. In the afternoon we will make a short walk to reach the banks of the Napo River to enjoy a beautiful sunset on its beaches and natural islands return to dinner and rest.

Day 2
Breakfast and departure to board the canoe that will take us to three amazing saladeros or lickers of easy access and spectacular sighting, in this sector you can observe about 11 species of parrots, parrots and in certain seasons scarlet macaws, of course depends on the conditions climatic and luck. (This activity is usually successful)

We will finish this morning with a visit to the Interpretation Center "Kuri Muyu" run by the women of the community here we will learn more about the Kichwa culture, handicrafts, traditions and ancestral uses of natural resources.

Return to lunch and take a rest at the Eco Lodge.
In the afternoon visit and paddle in the black water pipe (Igapo) and Guangana or Kuri Muyo path to our return possible sighting of alligators and other wildlife on the banks of the river and Napo.
Return to the hotel by motorized canoe dinner and accommodation.

Day 3
Breakfast. Tour of community projects, we will talk about the Kichwa worldview in addition to medicinal plants and walk along the path Mama Crib or Samona excellent opportunity to see more wildlife, centenary ceibos, matapalos, guadua cane, lianas and endemic shrubs Yasuni enchanting place, depends on several factors such as weather, water level, time, silence, luck etc.

We will return to Yasuni Ecolodge where an exquisite traditional Typical Farewell Dinner awaits us.

Day 4
Hike approximately 2 hours to go up to the observation tower of 35 m. with probabilities of observing variety of birds, howler monkeys, varicose veins, parrots, parrots, sloths. Return to the hotel, in this itinerary you can choose as an option to make camping, we will take care of all the equipment, this is another ancestral way of perceiving the life of the Pacha Mama and the nature of the forest.

Day 5

We will get up at 4:30 in the morning to share one of the unique ancestral customs of the Kichwa culture, the wayusa taking that purifies and energizes the body and mind by listening to songs in the Kichwa language, then participating in the interpretation of dreams or ask questions and meditate in a peaceful environment. We will return for breakfast and take our luggage to start the trip back to Coca.
